FREETHORPE U9s
This week played Bungay at home. After the long break all the boys were keen to play.Kicking down the hill Freethorpe started the brighter team looking sharp with all the team passing well. Reece and Thomas were a consent threat causing Bungay lots of problems. Perry and Alex tackled well and Liam S held firm at the back. Reece quickly scored a great hat-trick which earned him M.O.M for Freethorpe to lead 3-0 at the break.
The second half saw Bungay improve their play and with subs rolling off and on for both teams Bungay scored. Ollie, Aaron and Liam D all played well for the team and contributed to the result. Luke in goal pulled off two or three goal saves and kicked long. Perry was again starting much of Freethorpe's good play and Alex was strong as ever. Alex scored for Freethorpe to restore there three goal lead and near the end Thomas got a deserved goal for Freethorpe to win 5-1 capping a good display from him and the whole team playing together and passing well.
