YOUTH FOOTBALL REPORT

FREETHORPE U9's

                             This week played Pakefield 'C'. The game started brightly with both teams playing well and play was flowing from end to end. Freethorpe forced a corner which Thomas took and the lively Reece scored with a glancing header. Aaron having his best game ever was strong in the tackle and passing well, he then scored his first goal in the league with a long range shot. At the other end Luke made two great saves to keep Pakefield out.

     Liam S, Ollie and Aaron defended well with discipline throughout the game against lively opposition. Thomas scored the 3rd goal after another great Aaron pass. Alex playing in several positions throughout the game was a imposing presence. Liam D looked lively and worked hard. Pakefield deservedly got one back after Reece had scored a great goal with a rising shot.

    Liam S went close from a Thomas corner and Alex had hard luck with two free kicks from long range. Reece then scored his 3rd and 4th goals both from long range free kicks. Luke continued his excellent form in goal making some top class saves late on in the game.
