Subject: Freethorpe Under 8's report

Freethorpe Under 8's were well beaten by a strong Pakefield B team, Pakefield were clearly the best team we have played this season and were well organised and stronger than us in most departments. There were lessons to be learned from the way they passed the ball and shot on every occasion available to them.
We looked tired this week and will have plenty to work on in training, making sure we pass the ball more often should help with the tiredness, and a better use of substitutions should also help.
Not all was doom & gloom and it should be remembered this is only our fourth game together and we will continue to improve as the season continues, Ben although beaten six times played well making several good saves and once again his kicking improved, Oliver made some good runs but should look for the pass more often, as should William & Ashley H, Bailey defended well on occasions but we were often out run as Pakefield got stronger & tackled in numbers.
Our subs Ashley S, Joseph, Danny & Liam all tried hard when they came on and Ashley H had a penalty well saved, the match ended 6 - 0 with the lads still trying to pull one back at the final whistle.
