Freethorpe U11 Girls.

This week played Bohemians away with a bare seven players.What an effort by all the girls.The game was lost 0-10 but all the goals were scored in two 5 minute bursts by Bohemians one in each half.The remainder of the game was very even.Playing on a large pitch Elizabeth G put in her usual good display in defence well supported by the improving Lily B.Isabel S and Libby B shared the goalkeeping duties both playing well in and out of goal with there different styles.Jessica H was outstanding with some great runs and tackles and continuing to play despite a rib injury.Claire A had her best game to date with some hard running,tackerling and good passing while Rebekah G worked hard up front without reward and helped in defence when needed.
