THIS WEEK ENTERTAINED THE HORNETS FROM HEMSBY.FROM THE START OF THE GAME IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A CLOSE MATCH BETWEEN TWO GOOD TEAMS.HEMSBY TOOK THE LEAD WHEN STAND IN KEEPER LIAM S WENT FOR THE BALL AT THE NEAR POST FROM A CORNER,IT EVADED HIM AND WAS KNOCKED IN AT THE FAR POST.PERRY WAS QUICKLY INTRODUCED AND HAD AN IMMEDIATE EFFECT ON THE TEAM WITH HIS GREAT DEFENDING AND PROBING PASSES.REECE AND THOMAS WORKED HARD TO GET FREETHORPE BACK ON TERMS AND WERE REWARDED WHEN THOMAS SCORED DIRECTLY WITH A GREAT INSWINGING CORNER.ALEX PETT WAS AGAIN AN IMPOSING PRESENCE AND HAD A GREAT GAME THROUGHOUT.THE SECOND HALF CONTINUED TO BE VERY EVEN WITH BOTH TEAMS PLAYING WELL.LIAM D HAD HIS BEST GAME TO DATE AND WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE.MIDWAY THROUGH THE HALF HEMSBY SCORED WITH A GREAT LONG RANGE SHOT. FREETHORPE GAVE EVERYTHING AND CAME CLOSE TO EQUALISING SEVERAL TIMES BUT TO NO AVAIL.MOM PERRY(WHAT A TURN )
