FA SOCCER PARENT WORKSHOP
Charter Standard Adult Club Freethorpe FC held their own Soccer Parent Workshop on Monday November 7th enabling 22 of the clubs volunteers to discuss topics and issues that effect their involvement with the club.
The workshop was delivered by Norfolk FA 's Football development officer Asa Sanders and was held at Freethorpe Village Hall.
Noorfolk FA is encouraging parents to play a positive role in supporting their childrens football experierence.Parents can play an crucial part in supporting the involvement of their children within football.As a result the FA has developed a soccer parent workshop to support clubs and their parents.
Involvement in football can greatly influence the development of children, both in the football environment and in their overall lifestyles.In order to sustain this involvement support and encouragement from people around them is vital.
The workshop topics are
1. What can football do for children
2. Why parents are important in football
3.Helping children progress in football
4. Developing a code of conduct
