FREETHORPE U11s GIRLS
Played Silfield away. Freethorpe dominated the first half with two early chances from Erin K. Rebekah G and Olivia S made excellent runs and strong tackles, Melissa H was solid in midfield tackling and passing the ball well. In the 15th minute Erin K scored after some great passing moves with Rebekah G.
The second half saw Silfield try to get back into the game but Ellan P and Elizabeth G defended well with Libby B dominating her goal area. Molly D and Jessica H appeared as subs in defence and midfield and played a strong role. Freethorpe continued pushing forward and defending to keep the score 1-0 victory. Well done to all the girls for there never give up attitude that they have had throughout the season it finally paid off with our first win and hopefully more.
A big thank you to Marcus Smith (1st team Manager) for his help and support with training it proved today how much the girls have learnt from him.
