Freethorpe found ourselves 1-0 down very early on. After 23 seconds from the kick off. But with some encouragement from each other and from the management on the sidelines Freethorpe drew level after 8 mins though Liam cool persistance going round the goalkeeper to slot home our first. Our second goal came from a throw in which was eventually crossed after good build up play, to Tom N who smashed the ball home. Freethorpe took an even bigger lead in the 34th minute when Tom B headed in from a Chris flick on which came from a good cross from Brandon. 3-1 up at Half-Time. Scotty got his 4th goal from the penalty spot this season after a Hempnall player handelled the ball in the area. With Freethorpe 3 goals up thinking they could relax, Hempnall were awarded a freekick in their own half which was taken quickly. The Freethorpre back four weren't expecting it and allowed Hempnall to score. But almost immediately Captain Tom N scored with an outstanding effort from about 30yards out, which sailed into the top left corner of the net. I thought that both goalkeepers played outstandingly.
